Don't Squelch Joy
The church where Mrs. MediaBlog and I recently participated in a wedding did not allow dancing on the premises. Don't get the wrong idea. They sing praise music. Sermons are interesting and topical. People wear jeans. It's theologically conservative but relevant.
Still, probably for the sake of not offending anyone, the contract says you can't dance on the premises. Now, to each his own but for the life of me I can't see why you would want to condemn something as joyful and harmless as what you see above.
Do you want people grinding in the fellowship hall? Not so much. Still, must we Christians always throw the baby out with the bathwater?
